The Brief
Recreate the set from the movie for celebrity guests and media to attend the New Zealand premiere and bring Willy Wonka's land of confectionary and chocolate to life while creating a visual and sensory extravaganza.

Stimulate guests senses and create a high impact event to generate excellent levels of media reaction and publicity to further promote the film.

Work around the cinema's opening hours and design a pack in strategy to ensure the health and safety of the public.


The Orange Solution

• Recreate a set from the movie, fill the venue with chocolate aromas, clever use of sound and lighting to further engage guest senses even more. Entertainment was essential and four Oompa Loompa's were onsite for the event to meet and greet guests.


• Design, carve and paint trees, props, create a chocolate waterfall to look like just like the candy land scene in the movie.


• Recreate four three dimensional sets that look solid and real (not just flat props).


• Create delight and excitement for children and adults alike through the use of chocolate scent throughout the venue and oversized real candy.
